Nami Island is a small, half moon–shaped river island in Chuncheon, about 60–90 minutes from Seoul. Named after General Nami of the Joseon Dynasty, it’s famous for peaceful, tree lined avenues, seasonal scenery, and a relaxed, park like atmosphere. The island became globally popular after the K drama “Winter Sonata,” and today it blends nature with art installations, cafés, and family friendly activities.
